Kurt Angle Announced For Class Of 2017 For WWE Hall Of Fame

One of the highlights of Wrestlemania weekend in the WWE is the WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony.  Recently the first name for the class of 2017 was announced, Kurt Angle.

According to WWE,   the former gold medal winning Olympian  and multiple title holder will be inducted at the ceremony in April.

The Gold Medal winning Angle moved on from the Olympics to become one of the more decorated champions during his time in the WWE.   Multiple time WWE Champion, Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion, Tag Champ among others. Scoring tap outs with his ankle lock.   He also served as Smackdown GM.

He feuded over the years with Superstars such as The Rock, Triple H, Eddie Guerrero, and Shawn Michaels just to name a few.

One of my personal favorites over the last 20 years, a much deserved honor for the Olympic hero.
