The Lansing Lugnuts announced on Monday that you can play golf at Jackson Field in downtown Lansing from April 8th-11th (the same dates as golf's first major of the year, The Masters).

It is a nine-hole course where you can take tee shots from nine different spots on the concourse.  There are prizes for the closest shot to the hole and hole-in-ones.

And the highest point score after the four days of play will win the "Red Blazer" (in a nod to The Masters' Green Jacket).

The golf concept has been tried before at the Major League level by the San Diego Padres at their home field, Petco Park, for several years now.  Read about it here.

The course is titled "Grand River Country Club".  And is priced at $100 for a foursome and $30 a person.
