We all remember where we were when the towers came down in 2001. We remember the disbelief, the horror, and above it all, the heroism of our first responders giving their all while a stunned nation stood helpless. Today is September 11th, a day that changed the United States of America forever. Many tributes and moments of silence are scheduled throughout the nation and the state. Kalamazoo is hosting a remembrance service in Bronson Park. Lansing paid tribute to the thousands that lost their lives this morning. And one of the most iconic Michigan landmarks, and architectural wonder, the Mackinac Bridge, is flying the colors in honor; a silent, strong statement. May we never forget that day, the innocent lives lost, and the resiliency of our country.
