McKelly Taking Heat For Opinion On Police

I've been taking some heat this morning for my opinion that I understand why the Miami police union voted to boycott Beyonce's upcoming April 26th concert to protest the performance of her controversial new song “Formation” at halftime of the Super Bowl.

They feel that Beyonce used this year’s Super Bowl to divide Americans by promoting the Black Panthers and her anti police message shows she does not support law enforcement.

It's no secret I'm a huge supporter of law enforcement and have many friends in the ranks.  But more than that I think it's important to remember that with freedom of speech and expression brings with it consequences on a 2 way street.  I certainly know this first hand.  And frankly, I think we should take more, or at least equal, time to applaud the positive things law enforcement does on a daily basis in our community and around the country.  Check out more of the story...
