To be clear, being single is not a bad thing.  At risk of sounding like the uncle or aunt you go to for advice.  You don't need a romantic partner to be happy.  However, Valentine's Day is around the corner.  That leads many single people to be hyper aware of their relationship status.  Wallet Hub released a study showing the best and worst states for singles.  Here's how they came with their findings,

In order to identify the best and worst states for singles, WalletHub compared the 50 states across three key dimensions: 1) Dating Economics, 2) Dating Opportunities and 3) Romance & Fun.

Ohio ranked #8 as Michigan is the 9th best state for singles according to this study.
