When you think of the term hole in the wall, it sounds like it’s supposed to be some busted-up piece of crap. But it couldn’t be anything further from the truth, as I look at hole-in-the-wall bars as small establishments where people of all colors come together to support one another.

This is also where you’ll find some very interesting characters that frequent these bars. Some of the most-wild personalities I've ever come across are in places like this. That’s why I always, appreciate new places. You get to try something new and you get to experience different people.

There are lots of different hole-in-the-wall bars in southwest Michigan. They have some amazing food and Southwest helps us compile a list of all the places. Make sure on your next day off you take some time to visit one of these places and let us know where you went, how you enjoyed their food, and what you got.
