I guess it's something that we should have been prepared for, yet hoped wouldn't happen. Personally, I think the hard seltzer drinks are pretty good on a hot day. Some people detest them. Regardless, the people at the Royal Oak Music Theatre on 318 W. 4th St. in Royal Oak, Michigan realize that this new craze over hard seltzer drinks isn't going away, which is why they're throwing "All Fizzed Up,"  the first hard seltzer festival of its kind to come to the Midwest, according to Freep. Hand-crafted cocktails and assorted wines will also be available, along with the chance to purchase all sorts of items from food trucks, as well as entertainment from DJ John Arnold.

The event runs December 27th from 8-11 p.m., with a VIP hour from 7-8 p.m. Early-bird tickets are available for $40 per person and $60 for VIP; prices go up $10 after the early-bird period. Admission comes with 3-oz. drink sample tickets (10 tickets for general admission, 15 for VIP), a commemorative pint glass and keepsake photo. Additional sample tickets, food and merchandise will be available for purchase at the event.
