Michigan announced they would wear their 1989 uniforms for the game against Michigan State in Ann Arbor on Sunday.  The game will now feature a 30th anniversary celebration of their title.

According to Maize N' Brew, the 30th anniversary of the 1989 championship will be celebrated with coach Steve Fisher and many members of the team in attendance.

Names like Glen Rice and Terry Mills are expected to be there. Unfortunately Rumeal Robinson will not be apart of this latest celebration.

The team made an unexpected run beating teams like South Alabama, Xavier, North Carolina, Virginia, Illinois and Seton Hall to win the title.

This celebration will happen as the current Michigan team host Michigan State.   The game will play a big part in deciding the winner of the Big Ten regular season.

This game is just one of two meetings for the two teams this season.  The other will happen in East Lansing to end the season on March 9th.    The game on Sunday is set for 3:45 p.m. on CBS.
