Mitten Dogs and More Set to Open near Western Michigan University

The WMU campus area is set to get a new restaurant option as Mitten Dogs and More plans to open across from campus at the corner of Michigan and Howard in Kalamazoo.

Mitten Dogs and More, as the name suggests, will be the closest stop to campus to grab hot dogs and coneys. A scan of their Facebook page turns up some creative items, no doubt the More in Mitten Dogs and More, including a ghost pepper grilled cheese or a grilled cheese topped with Founders beer cheese sauce. (GR beer? Really? In Kalamazoo? - nah I'm just messin' use what you want.)

The game has been changed. Tater tots or mitten fries with sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, a fried egg, jalapeños, and banana peppers!

Mitten Dogs and more is in their hiring phase and looks to be open just after Thanksgiving - a happy holidays to bellies all around campus.
