New Ownership of Kalamazoo FC

A Kalamazoo entrepreneur and soccer enthusiast is taking over the reins of Kalamazoo FC. Dave Shufelt assumes ownership from founder Mike Garret for the upcoming 2019 season. According to an article, Garrett said, of Shufelt, "He has been a supporter of the team from day one, has a passion for the game and this community – I really feel like he is the perfect fit to take the team forward at this point.” Shufelt, who was on the team advisory board for the Kalamazoo FC in the past, is looking forward to building the team's stand in the community. Plans are already being discussed for the upcoming season.

Kalamazoo FC is part of the National Premier Soccer League and competes in the Midwest Division.
