Jordan Binnington, who won the Stanley Cup with the St. Louis Blues, spent some time on the ice in a K-Wings uniform. See one of his best saves ever.

It was late in the game on December 31st, 2013. The Kalamazoo Wings were clinging to a one-goal lead over the Cincinnati Cyclones when Combs got the puck at the blue line. It was a clear breakaway and with a well-placed wrister, he could send the game to overtime. Wings' goalie Binnington stood his ground and showed what champions are made of with a spread-eagle save that the announcer called "THE SAVE OF THE YEAR!" With just 8.3 seconds left on the clock, Jordan Binnington  made sure his team kept the lead and went on to win the game 4-3.

Binnington only played with the K-Wings for that one 2013-14 season before moving up to the OHL and then in his rookie NHL season, winning it all. and making his mark as the only rookie goalie in NHL history to have 16 wins on the way to winning the Stanley Cup.
