I have always said that there is never any reason to freak out or yell or get into an argument over any reason. I firmly believe that anything can be handled just as long as adults can act like adults and have a civilized discussion.

Such a discussion did not happen in the case of a local patron who went into Short's Brewing Company, near Traverse City, recently. Apparently, a customer named Jason recently freaked out on the staff which led to an altercation that shocked people sitting at a table eating.

What Happened...According To "Jason"

The issue apparently began, according to Jason, when another couple came in after he and his partner, and were served before them. He claims that the wrong order was brought out. He then claimed that he would not be paying for his beers and would be walking out after already waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes and that the manager refused to acknowledge the screwup and was responsible for escalating the situation to the point where a scene was caused.
However, Short's Brewing is not standing for the incident that led to him freaking out and flipping a pizza off the table that belong to the other couple who were seated next to him. You can see one of the customers try to defuse the situation before he flips their food off the table. Short's Brewing offered, some advice to the customer in response to his review:
We’re not perfect, we strive for perfection but do make mistakes. Mistakes we are happy to correct and make right. We had a misfire, no doubt, and put our best foot forward to find the best solution, but that wasn’t good enough. Since you’re hell-bent on dragging this situation out, we think it’s best to give some context to the situation.
This is when they decided to show the footage:

Short's continued...

You twisted the wrong mustache bud, and since you’re ready to take us to the mats, the gloves are coming off. Your behavior is unacceptable and downright embarrassing. These are our friends, coworkers, neighbors, and community members. Don’t be a poopy pants. Be better. Life is Short’s and ya gotta drink it while you’re here.
