According to the UK's Evening Standard, Snoop Dogg watches Game of Thrones for "historic reasons, to try to understand what this world was based on before I got here. I like to know how we got from there, to here, and the similarities between then and now.” - direct quote from the D to the O to the double G.

Does Snoop know that Game of Thrones is based off a fantasy novel, or does he think that George R.R. Martin based his career upon writing non-fictional tales?

Granted I never paid attention, I don't remember learning about dragons and giants in history class.  However, I do recall something about the Earth originally being called Westeros...
