It was reported earlier this week that Michigan Stadium will host another international soccer match this summer.   The now officially announced game will be apart of The International Champions Cup. 

The International Champions Cup 2018 is set to feature 18 top clubs from around the world.   The match in Ann Arbor will be on July 28th and feature Manchester United against Liverpool.  Both teams are members of the English Premier League.

The tournament will see each of the teams play three matches apiece through out the U.S.A, Europe and Singapore according to ESPN.

Ann Arbor is just one of the many locations in the U.S. that will host matches.   The tournament schedule lists: Chicago, Charlotte, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Dallas, Washington D.C. as cities who will host matches in the U.S.A.

This summer will also see The World Cup as it is set to take place in Russia.  The World Cup will be played June 14th through July 15th.
