Steve From “Blue’s Clues” Is Coming To Michigan, and You Can Meet Him
There is something very special about the original Blue’s Clues, which spent many years on Nickelodeon, but there is something a little bit more special about their original host and star of the show Steve Burns.
Steve acted as the host of the show from 1996 until 2003. Since then, people have gained a large affinity and love for the original host, and consider the transition of him leaving and being replaced by Joe as one of the most heartbreaking moments in children’s television.

There was so little known about Steve Burns that for a time there was a rumor going around that he had passed away from suicide, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Steve Burns Continues to make his way around the country on a regular basis and this year, he will be coming to Michigan as part of the collection of Blue’s Clues actors that will be stopping at Motor City Comic Con.
The event takes place at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi from Friday, May 16 until Sunday, May 18, and will host a number of special guests, including Steve Burns, as well as Donovan Patton, who played Joe on the show from 2002 until 2006, as well as the host of “Blue’s Clues & You,” Josh Dela Cruz.
If there’s one thing I can say about Steve Burns is that sick days in middle school hit a little bit differently when you had to stay home and help Steve solve those clues that Blue would leave.
It remains one of the most beloved Nickelodeon shows of all time, and the fact that you get to possibly meet all three hosts is a pretty special event. All the info for the Motor City Comic Con can be seen here as well as tickets for the event.
