If you think the name of the restaurant is funny, wait until you see the clever menu items.

Springfield, Illinois. Out on the northeast side of town, along Dirksen Parkway, was the Fleetwood Restaurant. It's far from fancy, but as with most of these kind of places, it's got good food. And the Fleetwood's specialty is "broasted" chicken. It's moist, not greasy, seasoned just right. Darn near perfect; even the chicken breasts. So good, I still remember it 40 years later.

If you have been relishing in anticipation of Burger King's addition to the fast food "chicken wars" you may have to wait a bit longer as an unforeseen pickle shortage here in the Midwest is delaying the rollout.

There's a ruffling feathers joke in here somewhere.
