The Sign Says "I Assure You, We Are Open!"

After almost six months of waiting, we could finally see the re-opening of Saugatuck Brewery in Kalamazoo at their new location in downtown.

Another downtown business closes; it's the end of an era. And yes, after 25 years, that is the end of an era. Olde Peninsula Brew Pub and Restaurant, at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Portage Street, downtown announced Thursday morning (July 8th) it is closing for good.

It's truly a week of food heaven in Kalamazoo.

Each tour includes a knowledgeable tour guide providing historical facts about the Kalamazoo beer and Michigan craft beer industry, a stainless steel pint, and samples or a pint at the three featured breweries.

Grab some friends and restaurant hop while sampling the $10 menus around town, or settle in for something truly unique with innovative pairings

The public is invited to join in to light the overhead bistro lighting to signal the alleyway’s completion at 5:30 p.m.
