The Best April Fools Pranks On WRKR And The World

Back when people weren't "over reactors" and so sensitive and so politically correct, we managed pull some pretty good pranks on The Rocker Morning Show.  One of my favorites was the year we were fired for an incident we were involved in during a weekend live event in Sturgis.

When Monday rolled around we were not on the air and all that was heard was an apology from the GM for what we had done, that we weren't coming back and tune in tomorrow for the brand new Rocker Morning Show.  The new show was 2 totally inept stoner part timers trying to do our bits and just sucking!

But the best of all was the time I my dad won the Wisconsin lottery and gave it all to my sisters and me.  When I came on the air I said it was my last day but while I was on the air I would give away an undetermined amount of money.  Everyone who called off the air said they would miss me but while they had me on the phone could I help them out financially.  I, of course, let them in on the prank.

The callers ON the air were set ups who I gave fake money to in some of the most ridiculous situations possible.  The last of which was a girl (one of our sales reps) who was crying saying she totalled her surgeon boyfriend's Porsche and would I buy a new one so he wouldn't be mad.  I did!!!  It was a great day.
