In the upcoming season, Gordon Ramsay will try to help out Boodles’s restaurant in Madison Heights and Firenze’s Restaurant and Pizzeria in Warren. The new season is set to premiere with a two-hour special on Tuesday, July 21 at 8 PM.

This season of Kitchen Nightmares is all about small town, big mess. I am trying to help those restaurants get back on the map. Every season I am shocked and surprised by what I find. I can fix the menu. I can fix the kitchen. I can redecorate the dining room. But what I love more than anything is when the families come back together.

This will be the first time in 18 years that Gordon Ramsay has filmed an episode of Kitchen Nightmares in Michigan.

Previously, in 2008 during season 2, Gordon Ramsay went to Macomb County to help the struggling Italian restaurant Guiseppi’s as well as a waterfront seafood restaurant in Saint Clair Shores that was managed by a family in disarray at Jack’s on Waterfront.

Sadly, both restaurants eventually closed permanently, but hopefully the help he brings to these two restaurants can keep them alive. There's no word yet on which episodes of the new season will feature the Michigan restaurants.
