This Is Why 2018 Will Be The Weirdest Year For Michigan Ever

2018 has already started to show signs that it's going to be the strangest year we've ever seen and we aren't even through April yet. It kind of makes you wonder what else mother nature has in store for us as we are just now starting to see weather patterns that show spring may finally be here. Here are some of the reasons why this could be the weirdest year for us ever:

1. We Had A Meteor Explode Over Us- Everyone remembers the meteor that entered our atmosphere over Kalamazoo and ended up blowing up over metro Detroit. How often does that happen?
2. Crazy Cold Tempuratures- This may be the coldest winter in Kalamazoo's history. For example, on Saturday, Dec 30th we dropped down to 8 below zero breaking a previous record low of -4 in 1983
3. April Ice Storm- It's not cool when they tell you in April you could get 1 to 18 inches of snow. Not really the thing that brings May flowers.
4. Detroit Earthquake- Just yesterday, Windsor, Canada had a 3.6 magnitude earthquake that was felt much throughout Metro Detroit. We get an ice storm and an earthquake in the same week. Pure Michigan.

I can't wait to see what else this state decides to cook up for us this year. Perhaps a tornado or two? We will have to wait and see.
