One of the most anticipated productions in the Civic's 89th season is finally here. Set in New York City in the late 1950s, Red follows Abstract-Expressionist Mark Rothko as he begins work on a series of murals for the famed Four Seasons restaurant, and it's anything but easy. His creative process is explosive, and his assistant Ken can't seem to do anything right. Is he selling out or gaining exposure? Who decides what is art? Recipient of the 2010 Tony for Best Play, this drama is a must-see.
