Want to Get in to Ribfest Free? Volunteer Opportunities Available

Ribfest 2017 is FAST approaching, and there are still some opportunities to volunteer. Everyone is encouraged to apply. Fly solo, or get your friends, coworkers, or family together. Remember, Ribfest helps Arc Community Advocates, so by volunteering, you are, as well!

Rib Fest 2017 has volunteer openings in the following areas:

Admission Gate

Attendants will help to scan tickets, take payment for day of ticket sales, greet attendees, and hand out brochures. All volunteers that handle money are required to show their driver’s license to comply with money handling procedures.

Dates: all three days

Times: 4 pm – 11:30 pm (all three days)

Ticket Booth

Tickets are sold for the purchase of soda, beer and wine. All volunteers that handle money are required to show their driver’s license to comply with money handling procedures.

Dates: all three days

Times: 11 am – 11:30 pm (Thursday)

11 am – 12:30 am (Friday and Saturday)

Beverage Tent

This is a “bartender” position. To serve alcoholic beverages you must be 21 years old.

Dates: all three days. Event areas include the beer area, Coca-cola area, Specialty Beer Tent, VIP Tent, and a Wine Bar.  Beverages include serving keg-tapped beer, wine, non alcoholic beverages and limited mixed drinks.

Times:  10:30 am – 12:30 am (Saturday)
