Watch Fly’s Ride Along At Michigan International Speedway

Earlier this month I had the chance to have a three lap ride along at Michigan International Speedway.  The ride along was a part of the Rusty Wallace Driving Experience, which my wife gave me as a Christmas gift.

Going into the ride I had no idea what to expect,  to be honest I was pretty nervous about it.  Once I was sitting in the window of the car, I wasn't nervous at all.

This is a real ride along.  Real driver, real car. I couldn't see the speedometer, but I believe we were going at one point about 160-170 around the track. It was a great experience that I am glad to have had the opportunity to take part in.

If you are a fan of racing you can experience this.  The Rusty Wallace Driving Experience has packages that allow you to do the three lap ride along.  They also have one where you can drive the cars on the track.  I may do the ride along again some day but I'll leave the driving to the professionals.
