Watch Former Red Wing Score On Own Goal In One Of The Worst Plays Of The Year

It is one thing if it is deflected in but when you score on yourself it is bad.  The Dallas Stars recently scored on themselves with a empty net goal against Ottawa.

According to SB Nation, former Red Wings and current Dallas Stars forward Jiri Hudler scored on his own goal after a drop pass back to the net.   The play started with a delayed penalty so the goaltender went off the ice  that left the goal wide open and well disaster for the Stars.

A few passes and then the drop pass pack to an open net and goal.   A highlight that the Stars would like to forget.
