Wayne’s World Celebrates 25 Years with Party in Aurora

Very few movies captured the 1990s quite like Wayne's World.  It had everything a rock 'n roll fan could want; plucky but lovable scamps getting a shot at stardom with a classic rock soundtrack. Plus, Saturday Night Live faves Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, and Chris Farley showed they're more than ready for prime time, Rob Lowe sharpened his comedy chops, Lara Flynn Boyle had her original lips, and cameos from Ed O'Neill and Alice Cooper rounded out this little classic that could. Who knew that 25 years later we would still be quoting it?

February marks the 25th anniversary of Wayne's World hitting the theaters, and the people of Aurora, Illinois are celebrating it with a 6-month-long celebration.  So hang up your hair-net, find your flannel shirt and ripped jeans and head to Aurora for a little nostalgia, fandom, and doughnuts.
