19th Annual Great Grown-Up Spelling Bee

Don't be p-u-s-i-l-l-a-n-i-m-o-u-s! Join the Kalamazoo Public Library for their 19th Annual Great Grown-Up Spelling Bee, Wednesday, November 13th at the Bernhard Center on the campus of Western Michigan University. This event supports Ready to Read, a wonderful early childhood literacy program that encourages parents to share their love of reading with their children from birth to five years of age. Research shows that reading aloud to children better prepares them for reading in the classroom and more academic success.

The Kalamazoo Public Library is looking for sponsors, spelling teams, and enthusiastic cheerleaders. Call 269-553-7885 to register.
