"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts..." One of the most famous lines Shakespeare ever wrote comes from his comedy As You Like It, which is being performed by teens from the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre July 10th through the 21st. Follow the story of the banished Duke Senior who calls the Forest of Arden home. Soon after his banishment, his daughter, the fair Rosalind, gets the boot, as well, but not without falling head-over-heels for Orlando. Disguising herself as a man, she escapes to the forest to find Orlando, and shenanigans ensue. A free play for all ages, this show has been edited for some not-so-family-friendly content and time. So, bring a chair and join these talented teens as they take you on a very funny trip through the Forest of Arden.
