Bob Seger: Live in Concert
Hear Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band recorded live in concert at Cobo Hall in Detroit this weekend on RKR.
Are you missing live shows as much as we are? There haven't been any live concerts since March and we don't know when they will return, so we're is doing something about it. Every Saturday night at 8, it's Live in Concert. Tune in at 107.7, listen live at WRKR.com or on the RKR app if you're on the go and hear live cuts from classic rock icons.
Michigan audiences love Bob Seger, he's our favorite son. It took everyone else until about Live Bullet to figure out that he was something special, but we knew him way back when he was Smokin' O.P.'s. This weekend's show comes from a 2007 performance as Bob was returning from a decade at home. On the road again, you can tell he and the band are having a great time on stage, especially in front of a Detroit audience.
You'll also hear some great cuts recorded live back in the day- The Eagles from October of '76 and Thin Lizzy from 1977. Peter Gabriel is also featured this week. Gabriel been a consummate performer all of his career, and the Growing Up tour was exceptional. (I saw the concert, bought the live recording of that night at the Palace and have the DVD.) Saturday nights rock with Live in Concert, every week at 8 pm, exclusively on Kalamazoo's Rock Station 107.7 RKR.
