It's one big beach day with 8 bands on 2 stages and 80 craft breweries bringing 400+ beers to Muskegon's Burning Foot Beer Festival.

The name reminds me of the archaic prank of lighting a match under someone's foot, (I think I last saw it on the Flintstones or something?) but it makes sense when you think about it. Remember that really hot day at the beach, that one time that you forgot your flip flops? Burning Foot is the perfect name for a day-long festival at Muskegon's Pere Marquette Beach on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan.

Founded in 2014, the event has grown each year and the lineup for the fifth annual festival is impressive with national rock acts Everclear and Sponge rocking the main stage, six other bands fill out the musical entertainment. The beer is the main attraction and 80 breweries from Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin will be there, pouring 400+ beers. Burning Foot is a full day of hot sand, cold beer, and kickin' music.
