As the off season continues for the NHL, schedules are starting to be released for the upcoming 2018-2019 season with the preseason games now set.

According to the Red Wings,  their preseason games will feature the familiar lineup of Pittsburgh, Boston, Chicago and Toronto.

The preseason schedule is out and the team will return to the Little Caesars Arena with three home games on September 19th, 20th and 22nd.  That means there will be 4 straight on the road before the last preseason game in Toronto on September 29th.

If you have not had the chance to see a game at Little Caesars Arena the preseason would be a good opportunity to check out the team and the arena in Downtown Detroit.

I was lucky enough to make it down to the arena last season and I enjoyed it and hope to see a few games in the upcoming season.

As for the regular season schedule, that is expected to be released in the next few weeks.

Tickets for the preseason games will go on sale on August 6th.

Next up for the Red Wings is the NHL Draft which is June 22nd-23rd in Dallas and also the 2018 development camp which will be the week of June 26th-30th in Detroit.
