Early this year I learned a horrible truth about the foster care system. Displaced children are often dropped off at their foster parents' home with their belongings in a garbage bag. Can you imagine? You're a scared child already going through hard times at home, so much so that it's in your best interest to live with strangers, and everything you own is in a trash bag. The Kalamazoo Jaycees need your help to end this.

From 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, July 20th,  Stuff the Paramount Bus at 3624 Westnedge Ave. They are asking for donations of underwear, socks, feminine hygiene products, combs, brushes, clothing (gently used is just fine!), shoes - imagine what you would need in an overnight bag as a child - they'll take it! They also need school supplies, and, of course, backpacks and duffle bags. Kalamazoo DHHS will receive every donation. Stick around for the Paramount Fun Fair, with games, face painting, and a chance at a brand new bike!

Help our kids build confidence and come out to stuff the Paramount bus!
