Over the years  many films have been made using S.W. Michigan as a location.  There was one I vaguely remember called "Kalamazoo?" that co-stared a young Mike McKelly making his big screen debut.  In fact, the state of Michigan set up incentives for Hollywood to come to The Mitten and make us look good; or, in the case of my performance, look bad.  Those incentives were phased out and there hasn't been a lot of action (get it, action) in the way of film making.

Well, our good friend Franque Thompson on wwmt.com tells us that HBO might be headed to South Haven to shoot a new series called "The Time Traveler's Wife" based on the book who's story took place in South Haven.  You might remember that they made it into a movie of the same name back in 2009 but didn't film here. But since it's a series, speculation is they might use the actual town.  Get more of the story by clicking HERE.
