So far, the summer of 2025 in Michigan has been pretty humid, and there are people who are eagerly anticipating the fall. When you hear stories like this, that next week in Michigan, we could be facing a dangerous heat wave with heat index temperatures coming in as high as 107 in Michigan, it’s really no surprise that people want fall to hurry up.

Meteorologist Ross Ellet recently posted a graphic showing that next week's weather could get dangerously hot on Wednesday, July 23 by 5 PM.

He said the dangerous heat will reach highs in the low to mid-90s. However, the heat index will be over 100° in Michigan, with the worst heat coming late next week:

Heads up...all of our weather maps are showing the heat dome expanding back into the region next week. The humidity is expected to be at the highest level of the year with a dewpoint topping out between 75 and 80 degrees.

Although that may not seem like much, it's quite the opposite:

That will make it feel like 100 or higher since highs will be in the 90s. Tuesday will turn hot, but the hottest weather is expected next Wednesday through Friday (July 23rd to 25th). It is possible to get some thunderstorms with this pattern as well, especially late next week.
