The Kalamazoo Wings are in the middle of the off season but they landed a new player this week with the completion of a trade from March with The Reading Royals.

According to the K-Wings, they have acquired forward Ryan Penny from the Reading Royals.   This is to complete a trade from March that sent Charlie Vastauro to Reading.

Penny has spent time between the AHL and ECHL, not only playing in Reading but in Binghamton for the Senators and Devils.

In his 193 games in between the two leagues he has 112 points ( 53 goals and 59 assists).

The K-Wings schedule for the next season is out and the team will begin their season  in Indianapolis against the Indy Fuel on October 13th.

The home opener is scheduled for Wings Event Center on October 19th against the Ft. Wayne Komets.
