Get Ready For Kalapalooza’s Tasty Music-filled Weekend
Outlier Events has just announced Kalapalooza, a two-day festival "mashup" taking over Honor Credit Union Stadium, home of the Kalamazoo Growlers, on August 28th and 29th. Friday, Aug 28, will be the Taco & Tequila Festival, featuring throwback hip-hop with the Ying Yang Twins and Twista.
Saturday, Aug 29, will be Mac & Cheese Fest, featuring iconic rock with Buckcherry and Sponge.

Outlier Events has become well-known throughout West Michigan as the organizers of events like the most recent SOLD OUT Picklepalooza. The Official Priority List is now open at kalapaloozafest.com for early access.
Madison Kihm, Director of Outlier Events, expressed her excitement for this adventurous announcement:
We are ending the summer with a bang. Combining the energy of Taco & Tequila with the fan-favorite Mac & Cheese Fest creates a 'Kalapalooza' experience that has something for everyone—from hip-hop fans to rock enthusiasts and every foodie in between. This is the largest event we have ever attempted, and we are thrilled for the challenge.
Due to the unique nature of this double-header, Outlier Events is expecting tickets to move fast. Fans are encouraged to join the Official Priority List to receive an exclusive pre-sale link. Joining the list ensures:
1. First Dibs: Purchase tickets before the general public.
2. Best Pricing: Access to "Early Bird" tiers before prices increase.
3. Limited Add-ons: Priority access to VIP packages and specialized tasting tokens
Recently, the home of the Kalamazoo Growlers was renamed after a partnership was formed, making it Honor Credit Union Stadium. The field itself will still be known as Homer Stryker Field.
