Kid Rock Set To Be First Performer At Little Caesars Arena In Detroit

Both the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons will play in Little Caesars Arena in Downtown Detroit next season.  But before the teams hit the new arena, Detroit's own Kid Rock will help open the new arena.

According to Detroit Free Press,  Kid Rock is set to play four shows in September. September 12th,13th, 15th and 16th at the new arena.

The announcement came on speculation on who would perform as Olympia Entertainment  were hoping for a big kickoff concert.

The shows will take place a few weeks before the Red Wings 2017-2018 season and the Pistons, who start their season later in October.
