If you've ever been out to L.A. and have indulged in the greatness that is Dave's Hot Chicken, you know just how hard those sandwiches slap you right in the taste buds. If you're like me, a chump, you haven't yet tasted the greatness of these bad boys. But that may all change as the company has announced that they're eye-balling Michigan and Ohio as landing spots for their chain. The Los Angeles-based Nashville Hot Chicken-style chain is looking to expand to Saginaw & Flint as well as Toledo & Dayton in Ohio.

All together, the company is looking to add 25 stores between Michigan and Ohio, so it's not too far fetched that we may end up landing a store in Kalamazoo. As of now the locations haven't been completely confirmed and no date has been set for the chains to open, according to Metro Times. This may seem unwise to the untrained eye, in the midst of a pandemic, but because the chain has focused on carry out and delivery, it has actually seen much success during the Covid-19 outbreak.

If they were to come to Kalamazoo, there are actually a few prime spots they could occupy. There seems to be a few abandoned fast food type restaurants in the area that have yet to be occupied. Maybe they could set up shop in one of these places that are listed for lease rental:
