All your favorite characters from the Dreamworks original movie Madagascar are coming to the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre. The Kalamazoo Civic Youth Theatre present Madagascar Jr., a musical comedy that follows Alex, who, as a lion cub, was caught by poachers who sold him to a New York zoo. Over the years he becomes the zoo's main attraction, garnering all the fame and admiration a little lion could want. He and his friends, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo certainly enjoy living in the lap of zoo luxury, enjoying many amenities, like safety and regular meals, but a need for adventure spurs the foursome to escape to explore the world with the help of some scene-stealing penguins. The music will make you "Move It, Move It" so get crack-a-lackin' on reserving your tickets today!
