There's a new book being published by a local author that hits on small towns in Michigan, including some on the west side of the state, like Vicksburg.

Amy Piper, a Michigan-born and raised author, is back with her newest book about Michigan, "Small Town, Michigan: Legends, Lore, and Attractions in the Wolverine State."

She will be doing a presentation & Book Signing  Thursday, July 16^th, 7 pm at Vicksburg Historic Village Township Hall in Vicksburg, MI, Friday, July 17^th, 10:30 am- 3:30 pm at Niles District Library in Niles, MI, and Friday, July 17^th, 5:30-7:30 pm at Sit and Stay Winery in Kalamazoo, MI, all of which are free and open to the public, as Reedy Press described:
