Nature Gets All Hipster with Winter Art

I get it; it’s cold.  Wicked cold.  Stupid cold.

Pipes are freezing, black ice is everywhere, drifting snow has made the simplest trip to the store an event that requires chains and a Sherpa.  I think by this point everyone has had it with winter.  I know I have.  But with all the negatives that winter punishes us with, there are some strangely beautiful things it accomplishes.  Take, for instance, these gorgeous pictures that a WMU grad captured of frozen sand.  I suggest looking at them when you’re sitting in front of a roaring fire with a cup of hot cocoa in hand, not when you’re waiting for a tow to get you out a ditch.  It’s all about perspective.
