Michigan Man Didn’t Remove Cap During National Anthem At Tigers Game & All Hell Broke Loose
Recently at a Detroit Tigers game, a man who went to enjoy the game was harrassed for doing something he insists was unintentional, and it has the internet in an uproar, if you'll mind the pun.
The interaction took place almost right away after entering Comerica Park over the weekend. Here's what happened:

A fan tried to check me for not removing my hat during the national anthem. My Fiancée, Son, and I had just walked in and stopped for the anthem. I normally remove my hat and got caught looking for my seat. This guy refused to get out of my way, we exchanged words and then he proceeded to follow my family and me down the concourse.
Things Continued To Escalate
As he continues, he describes how he had to ask security to step in because the fan wouldn't stop harassing him and was ready to solve the issue himself:
I had to call security because I was close to handling him myself. I used to love sports because it brought people together. I’m there to watch baseball and that’s it. I hate the recent division that has shown up recently z it’s not your job to be checking people and trying to be the damn patriot police.
Backlash on The Internet
The man shared his story and was met with a lot of different reactions from vets alike:
I fought for that flag and knows those that died for it if u don't want to respect it then get the f- out of here America doesn't need you.
While this particular response wasn't very coherent or graceful, other vets chimed in with their thoughts, taking his side:
Man as a 10-year Navy person let me tell you now, myself and a vast majority of current active, retired etc don't care. It's more weird people think they get to take charge of what people do and don't do in a free place.

I agree that even if you don't stand you SHOULD take your cap off out of respect, but the fact he didn't intentionally NOT take it off and was harrassed I feel is totally out of line. What do you think?
