The Kalamazoo Nature Center opens it's Visitor Center after regular hours once a month to offer a quieter, sensory-friendly experience for families with children on the autism spectrum or who have sensory processing needs. This month, join the Kalamazoo Nature Center on Friday, February 21st from 6:00pm to 7:00pm for an evening that includes self-guided exhibit exploration, live animal introduction, and a craft to take home after your visit. Space is limited to ten children for each evening to preserve the low-stimulus environment, and registration is required prior to the event.
