It's certainly not a new question or a new idea.  And according to our friends at WWMT, the state of West Virginia is set to vote on a bill that would require all schools to offer a bible class in order for students to have this information.  The course would offer teaching of Hebrew scripture and Old & New Testament but would not be required.  Only the offering of the class would be.

Some have said it would be much like college where courses are offered as electives.  I went to Catholic school for 12 years and a Lutheran college for 4 years which was my choice and it was part of the standard curriculum; well the last 4 were my choice.  The question then would be how it's interpreted by the Judiciary.  Get the West Virginia story HERE.
