Smothered Pork Chops and Sides - Free Meal From God's Kitchen

Some sure signs of autumn are upon us; morning frost, crisp air, falling leaves, and comfort food. The volunteers at God's Kitchen know a thing or two about comfort food, and they are pulling out all the stops with their next free meal; smothered pork chops with white rice and vegetable medley. I feel like the hyenas in Lion King:

Ooh, do it again!
Smothered, Smothered, Smothered!
It tingles me!

This free meal will be served Wednesday, October 24th from 4:30 to 6:00 at First Baptist Church in downtown Kalamazoo (Church Street entrance). It is open to the public and, as always, there is no income requirement to participate. If you are hungry, or your know someone who is, mark your calendar for the 24th.
