Recently, the family of Kalamazoo man Jino Rivera was forever changed. The sole provider for his wife and five children was in a very serious motorcycle accident on Red Arrow Highway in Watervliet. Good news is he's alive. The bad news is doctors project he will be out of work for at least the next three months.

The Kalamazoo County Fights Hunger Fund is trying to raise money for a one-of-a-kind mobile soup kitchen. Imagine; a pop up soup kitchen helping area needy Monday through Friday seeking out the people who so desperately need it. Imagine being hungry and knowing that the soup kitchen is scheduled to stop just blocks from you. A mobile hero, right?
