Kwings

It is still summer out and hot temperatures are upon us.  What better way to beat the heat than to starting thinking about the upcoming K-Wings season.

One of my favorite bits from the Kimmel Show is Celebrity Mean Tweets.  If you're not familiar with the bit, celebrities read mean tweets about themselves.  Most of the time it's funny.  Sometimes it's awkward.  And sometimes it's just plain mean.

Spend Saturday afternoon dancing with the K-Wings Flight Crew Team to some of the hottest new dance craze! Older dancers will be working a jazz routine while the younger dancers will be working with Princess themed ballet and jazz steps. All groups will learn "Slappy's" favorite dance, "the juicey wiggle", which he performs often on game days...

Love to dance? Dig the Kwings?  Wondering what those two things have to do with each other...? The Kwings Flight Crew is holding auditions Sunday, April 24th, 2:00pm, at Mosaic Hall and Dance Center in Portage.  Help greet fans, pull people from the audience for contests on the ice, assist Slappy, perform during games and community events, and cheer on your favorite hockey team...

Up for some family-friendly hockey?  The Kwings are in town this week with - not one, but - two nights to feed your fix. St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, it's the Green Ice/We Are Kalamazoo Game.  Don't be shy!  Don your green apparel and cheer on the team as they take on Brampton...

The Stanley Cup is making it's way around Kalamazoo This Week.  It is in town for the 2016 CCM/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week.

After spending their last two games away from home, the Kalamazoo Wings return to the friendly confines of Wings Event Center as the Wings will team up with New Year’s Fest in downtown Kalamazoo for a special New Year’s weekend against the Elmira Jackals...

The K-Wings Have announced in conjunction with the ECHL, that the Stanley Cup will be touring Kalamazoo in February.  The Cup will be in town as part of the 2016 CCM/ECHL Hockey Heritage week.

The Kalamazoo Wings announced today the 2016 CCM/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week, presented by PNC Bank and Bronson Sports Medicine is coming to Kalamazoo from February 1-6, 2016. With that,  the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto will be erecting a series of mobile exhibits and trophies at Wings Event Center on February 5th and 6th.
