Stop me if you've heard this one before... a man recently traveled over 6 hours and approximately 430 miles through multiple states with a snowmobile strapped to the roof of his car.
Here in Southwest Michigan we are fortunate to have plenty of snow now to get out and enjoy snowmobiling. If you plan to head out ,here are things to remember if you go out this winter.
Michigan's Mackinac Island is famously car-free. However in winter, you can hear the whirl of snowmobiles through the streets of the tourist community.
No real snow yet this season. Though something to keep in mind once we do get a significant amount, Michigan Department of Natural Resources conservation officers will be enhancing statewide efforts to enforce snowmobile decibel level rules this winter.
