If you're like me, you want to go on an actual "Honor Flight" to Washington D.C. but can't work it into your schedule.  Well here's a way to meet the vets, the people who make it all happen, and help out this great cause.

Southern Exposure: Go Back in Time to Support Talons Out

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (5/1/15) – Bunker-roasted chicken, spam-deviled eggs and coconut cream pie will transport everyone back to the 1940s and the World War II era this summer at Southern Exposure. A live auction, a Heads or Tails auction and our very special “Fly ‘Em Higher” auction will help Talons Out

Honor Flight send more World War II veterans on their Honor Flight. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on big-ticket items such as:

• Jacuzzi room at the Radisson with dinner for 2 at Zazio's and a $100 gift card to Blush Salon
• 2 Delta airline tickets to fly anywhere in the continental U.S.
• Pair of Mike Tyson-autographed boxing gloves
• Plenty more fun & unique offerings

• 5:30pm cocktail hour; 7:00pm dinner; 8:00pm auction
• Pricing details:

o  $100/person early bird or $950 early bird victory table (10 people)

o  After  June 10, pricing is $110/person or $1,000 per table

The 2014 Fabulous 40s Dinner & Auction at Southern Exposure raised more than $11,000, sending another 22 Michigan veterans on an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorial built in their honor. Talons Out Honor Flight hopes to nearly double that take this year, to raise $20,000.
