The Stanley Cup made it's way into the RKR studio today, as it makes it way around Kalamazoo for Hockey Heritage Week.    Seeing the cup up close reminded me of the time seeing Joe Elliott of Def Leppard setting the cup upside down.

This was just after the Detroit Red Wings won the cup in 2008.  Def Leppard was playing for what was then the kick off of the 2008-2009 NHL Season.  It was being televised on what was then called Versus.

Darren McCarty and Kyle Quincey of the Wings brought the cup on stage.  They handed it to Joe and well you can see he had no clue how to set it down.
