We had the chance to chat with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's drummer Jeff Plate and his beginnings as a musician. Jeff was once a metal drummer for the band Savatage, before becoming a founding member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, which he still performs for to this day.
Jeff Plate is currently promoting the 2022 Trans-Siberian Orchestra Winter Tour and the group's upcoming performance in the market. This year the tour will feature "THE GHOSTS OF CHRISTMAS EVE - THE BEST OF TSO & MORE" which will bring a completely updated presentation of the unforgettable, multi-generational holiday tradition, "The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve".
In the interview, Jeff touches on his musical background, who his early influences were, and how he's maintained to stay in this unique band for so long. Jeff maintains the mindset that the band's success isn't just credited to the performing musicians but the entire production cast and crew, which makes the TSO such an incredible experience.
